We are delighted to launch Savannah Group, a new Executive Search and Interim Management brand offering a fresh approach to executive recruitment.
Our core team has been together for 10+ years, and until now we were the UK operation for another global search business. We recognise that our market is changing rapidly and our rebranding offers us the opportunity to adapt our business to support our clients and candidates better in this continually evolving landscape.
In the last twelve months, we have spent a lot of time talking with our clients and finding out what they are looking for in a modern executive search firm. With advances in technology and a move by some organisations to bring elements of their executive resourcing in-house, there is a desire for change. Clients are particularly asking for a more tailored service to each requirement rather than the normal ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Clients also recognise that the workplace is changing and while in the past all executives were typically permanent employees; there is now recognition that some senior change or programme roles can be better suited to interim executives.
The other main piece of feedback we received was concerning the increasing depth of knowledge and specialism that clients now seek in their executive recruitment partner. They value deep industry and/or functional expertise and want the same partner to support them with their needs wherever they have a requirement. Having invested in briefing a partner so that they understand their culture and values as well as the hard skills required, they do not want their chosen partner to then delegate the work to juniors within the same office or other partners in different locations who may not have the same level of understanding of the role, the business or the culture.
With our new brand, we focused on developing an improved client and candidate experience around four main pillars:
A more flexible and tailored approach. We recognise that every requirement is different and we tailor our service for each client. We offer an ‘a la carte’ service where individual modules can be combined or taken separately rather than the traditional ‘one size fits all’ approach.
An integrated permanent and interim proposition. Our Executive search and Interim partners operate as a single team and work together to ensure that our clients get the most appropriate solution in every case.
Deeper expertise in our chosen markets and functional areas. All of our Partners are specialists in their chosen markets with an average of 15 years search experience. They support clients better by bringing a real understanding of the markets in which they operate.
A new approach for international searches. Our Partners use their deep understanding of their client’s businesses and the international markets in which they operate to support them wherever they have a need globally. We do not delegate to junior partners or hand off to other partners in different locations.
