My early career was spent with a large pharmaceutical company where I was involved with antiviral drug research. I then took a career break to have a family, taking the opportunity to study for a BA in Business and Finance. On returning to work, I joined an IT firm that specialised in providing software for the agricultural industry. As Customer Services Director, I supported and trained our clients in the use of the products and advised on the legislative aspects of running an agricultural business.
In 2004, I joined Savannah as an Executive Assistant to two of the Partners and simultaneously brought the finance function in-house. The finance role grew with the company, until it became my main responsibility; it remains so to date.
I provide a service that ensures accurate and timely financial reports are made available for the business, while maintaining a professional and friendly relationship with our clients and suppliers.
