Paul has over 20 years experience across Business Transformation, Operations, Human Resources, Supply Chain and Procurement. Paul works with a range of FTSE, AIM and Private-Equity backed organisations across the Industrial sector with a particular focus on Business & Support Services, helping their boards and investors to overcome challenges or accelerate growth.
Having studied English Literature at university I was unsure about following the well-trodden route into Teaching or Journalism so I considered options which are more people-focused. During one summer whilst at University I was placed into an assignment with a contract recruitment company sourcing candidates which led me to pursue a career in Contract and Interim Recruitment.
Very quickly, I enjoyed the fast-paced nature of the role and found myself fascinated by the insight it afforded me into the challenges my clients faced and the satisfaction in helping to solve them.
I differentiated myself by building deep and wide relationships with a small core of clients and completed multiple assignments. They appreciated my consultative and challenging style and knew implicitly that I could be trusted to act with integrity at all times.
Over the past 20 years, I have found my niche in the Executive market where my desire and ability to engage with boards and investors to overcome challenges or accelerate growth is most impactful.
I work with a range of FTSE, AIM and Private-Equity backed organisations across the Industrial sector with a particular focus on Business & Support Services.
Within these organisations I lead on Business Transformation across Operations, Human Resources, Supply Chain and Procurement.
Getting to know a client so well that you become an extension of that business is what really motivates me and where all parties get the most out of a close working relationship.
Breaking a problem or business objective down, challenging the client on their perceived solution and delivering a material difference in business results is extremely satisfying.
