Rachael is an Executive Assistant for Vicky Maxwell, (Managing Partner), and for John Ellis (Chairman)

My story

I have worked in recruitment in various roles for 18 years, both in-house and externally. I first started working within the executive search space when I moved to London five years ago.

My focus

I support Vicky Maxwell Davies and John Ellis, both with their corporate roles and their assignments. I also manage HR admin and various other corporate projects, as required.

My motivation

I like to understand the reason I am doing something and to feel that I am doing it in the most effective way. It’s important for me to know that what I’m doing adds value, and this makes it easier to prioritise the long list of tasks always needing to be completed!

Why I like working at Savannah

I really like the lack of hierarchical attitudes at Savannah. It one of the very few places I have worked that feels genuinely collegiate and supportive and where everyone is equally valued for their work, whatever they are doing. I think we are a pretty nice bunch of people, and that makes coming to work a much more pleasant experience.
