Tony is a former AIM-listed CEO who has led organisations of scale and stature in Europe and the Middle East. His clients include many of the world’s leading broadcasters, sport franchises, governing bodies and media groups. His sector insight, aligned with an understanding of how leadership teams operate at board level, has led to long-term relationships and the successful transformation of many organisations.
My business life started with me using many of the skills I had developed as a young (unsuccessful) aspiring musician. This entrepreneurial spirit led me to become Founding Partner at one of the UK’s first call centres. During this time, I met my wife, married and went on to manage a leading marketing agency, where I had my first board exposure, leading a talented and creative management team.
After many interesting years, I found myself running a sport and entertainment group, where I was eventually posted to the Middle East; from there, I was recruited into the executive search industry, eventually becoming a Regional Managing Partner. Living in the Middle East was professionally rewarding and personally enriching for myself and my family. During this period, I advised and provided talent for many of the region’s government entities and media groups.
On my return to the UK, I spent an enjoyable period building up an enviable, internationally-focused Sports, Media and Entertainment practice with an established boutique firm, before finding a home at Savannah, where I am perfectly positioned to provide a mixture of search, consultancy and leadership advisory work for an expanding international client base.

For the past 10 years, I have done this on a professional basis. It is a privilege to work within the executive search business, to advise clients on organisational structure and to be exposed to future aspirations, but never underestimating the impact that a new job and location change can have on a candidate and their family.
